For 17 years, MiradasDOC has been a festival and market of reference for documentary film professionals interested in the South, especially in Africa and Latin America. Held every year in Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain), the event offers laboratories and pitching sessions attended by prominent networks and funds such as ARTE TV, BBC, Canal 22, Canal Encuentro, Caracol TV, Deutsche Welle, The New York Times, RTP, RAI, RTVE, Señal Colombia, TRT, YLE, Berlinale, Doc Society, Documentary Africa, Hot Docs, IDFA or Sundance.
Managing Director of 3Boxmedia and Market Coordinator of the Miradasdoc Festival. He has worked as a journalist, news editor, and television director in Spain, France, and Germany. Over the last twenty years, he has been a jury member and has participated in numerous documentary, music, and film festivals, as well as working as a consultant and expert for various funds.
