Synopsis
In 1895, during the Selk’nam genocide, 165 indigenous people were captured in Tierra del Fuego, and their children were given to settlers as servants. Among them was the great-grandfather of Fernanda Olivares, who, a century later, motivated by her painful family history, returns to the ancestral territory to prove that they are not extinct.

Journalist from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. “Returning Where I Have Never Been” is her debut as a documentary filmmaker. She entered the world of cinema after developing her career in research and journalistic production of documentary series for Chilean TV stations.
