Synopsis
Maia, Yenifer, and Luciana are three transgender women who begin working as caretakers in a public elderly home. After years of engaging in prostitution, they face the physical and emotional demands of their new job. Over time, as they forge relationships with the residents, the caretakers become an integral part of the nursing home.

Her first co-direction with Martina resulted in the short film The Name of the Son, awarded at Berlinale 2020. Caretakers is their first feature-length documentary, which is currently in post-production. They are now filming their second documentary, Tristan, with support from INCAA and the Occitania Region of France.

Producer
A graduate of Audiovisual Communication, she is a producer at Groncho Estudio, established in 2014. She produced the documentary Mocha, which premiered nationwide in 2019. Her fiction short film, The Name of the Son, premiered at Berlinale in 2020, winning two awards in the Generation Kplus section.
Producer
A publicist and film producer, Marianne has produced over eighteen feature films and television series. In 2017, she created her own production house, El Otro Film. The Prince by Sebastian Muñoz (2019) premiered at the Critics’ Week in Venice in 2017 and received the Queer Lion Award.
