La Ventana Cine, a Chilean-based company with 17 years of experience, has produced over 1000 hours of award-winning audiovisual content. We are committed to impactful storytelling, and have a strong presence in Chile, with the ability to produce throughout Latin America.

Synopsis

César Hidalgo, a prodigious Chilean physicist, creates a disruptive mathematical model of citizen representation in the midst of the social outburst in Chile in 2019. After accepting his failure, he decides to investigate how technology has influenced democracy, motivated by the desire to leave a better world for his daughter.

  Film director and producer who made his debut with Chicago Boys (2015). He also produced Nae Pasaran(2018). In 2022, he released Breaking the Brick, and in 2023, he launched Laboratorio chatarra and Somos l@s niñ@s, in addition to serving as an executive producer for Chile50.

  Partner of La Ventana Cine, she is both a producer and audiovisual journalist with over 150 hours of audiovisual content. She is renowned for the award-winning documentary Chicago Boys. She also released the sequel Breaking the Brick in 2022. Sundance and Stanford University acknowledged her.
