Synopsis
Luna documents the journey of a couple who is about to have a baby with a fatal disorder known as Edwards syndrome, as they intend to deal with the baby’s passing by letting her depart while fighting for the right to legal abortion, prohibited in Brazil.
Co-director
Alessandra Tosi holds a degree in Cinema and Philosophy from USP and has completed postgraduate studies in Art Aesthetics at PUC-SP, Screenwriting Senac-SP, and specialized screenwriting programs. She’s been dedicated to audiovisual studies and has worked in various roles across prominent production companies.
Co-director
Victor works as a director and sound recordist. He holds a Social and Cultural Studies degree from the University of Havana and a Direction degree from EICTV-Cuba. He directed the films: La Carga, Eco, El Tempo es de Dios, El Color de Los Sonidos, among others. In Brazil, he worked for many production companies.
Producer
Vera holds a degree in Filmmaking from FAAP and a graduate degree in Film Research from Sorbonne-Paris I. She has worked as a second unit director, assistant director, and executive producer for the past two decades, having extensive experience in both films and TV series.
